Spring 2013 is already making it's way into Santee Alley. We expect to see lots of bright colors and graphic denim, with shades of bright pastels taking center stage over last year's highlighter yellows and pinks. We're predicting seafom (the light green color pictured below) and coral to be THE colors for spring. Not surprisingly, we've noticed a lot of mixing and matching between the two colors on tops, dresses, and even bottoms.
Still hanging strong are studs and spikes. Fall's favorite trend can be adapted for spring by choosing lighter fabrics and colors. Using a studded belt to accent a top keeps the outfit stylish without going overboard. We also really liked this white, studded mini dress. The studs help accentuate the waist and curve lines, while giving a little edge to an otherwise very feminine look.
Graphic jeans are also coming back this Spring. We expect to see much brighter, bolder patterns than last season. For the very fashion daring, we currently have metallic faux leather skinnies and leopard print skinnies available in The Alley. While flower prints and colorful graphics tend to be more casual, these can be dressed up for going out or dressed down for hanging out, and who doesn't love a good pair of all purpose pants?
