The Santee Alley Loves Lola Shoetique

If you're a true shoe lover, chances are you've already heard about Lola's. With over half a million followers on Instagram, Lola's Shoetique is the most popular shoe store in Santee Alley. They are known for their unique, trendy styles and amazing prices. Most heels range from $30-$65.

What many of you may not know, is that Lola Shoetique got it's start in 2004 as a woman's boutique. Shortly after opening, Lola (yes the store really is named after the owner!) realized her shoes were outselling everything else in the store and she decided to focus solely on bringing high-quality, one-of-a-kind shoes to the LA Fashion District. Lola Shoetique was born!

Fast forward 9 years later and there are now 7 Lola Shoetique locations in the Fashion District, with plans to expand into a franchise with stores in Miami, Las Vegas, and New York. Lola Shoetique manufactures, exports, and supplies boutiques across the United States and Southern and Central America. They work with over 55 shoe companies to develop and produce the fashion-forward heels that have made Lola's so popular.

Aside from the awesome shoes, we love Lola Shoetique for their dedication and support of Downtown LA and the LA Fashion District. As the company continues to grow, their home base is and always be in Los Angeles. The corporate office is headquarted in the Fashion District and Lola's remains a true family-run business with an incredible team.

If you're planning a trip to the alley definitely stop by one of their locations. You'll recognize the stores by their pink and purple walls and the big Lola's Shoetique signs. You can also shop Lola's online at www.lolashoetique.com.

Where to Buy Handbags Direct From the Manufacturer

BIC Plus is a handbag manufacturer, importer, distributor, wholesaler, and as of recently retail vendor. After years of distributing to handbag stores in the Fashion District, BIC Plus finally opened to the public four months ago, offering retail customers the same pricing as large-quantity buyers. Prices for handbags start as low as $8 and go as high as $25 for better quality purses and materials. Wholesale prices are even more affordable. The average price for a higher quality purse is $18. Wholesale pricing is also offered to shoppers who purchase 12 or more pieces. Friends can combine their purchases and mix and match to reach the minimum.

Why is BIC Plus able to offer such low pricing? Not only do they import and distribute large quantities, they also manufacture many of their own styles. When you purchase from BIC, you are purchasing directly from the source, cutting out the middle-man costs. At any given time, you will find approximately 20 styles that are exclusive to BIC. You won't find them anywhere else in the district.

You can view their inventory or order online at www.FantasticPlus.com. Visit their Facebook page at www.Faceboom.com/FantasticPlus to stay up to date on the newest styles and specials.

Visit BIC Plus at 1030 Maple Ave. Los Angeles, CA.

The store has since expanded to four locations in the Fashion District and sells trendy women's clothing as well as some of Mr. Perez's unique designs. The family-run business prides itself in having the newest styles, with new inventory arriving in stores twice a week.

AP Design also makes custom-clothing for pageants, the Latin entertainment industry, and special events. They take custom in-store orders for quinceaƱeras, prom, and weddings. Everything is made in LA!

AP carries plus-size women's fashions for retail and wholesale. Much of their plus-size inventory (like the rest of their merchandise) is comprised of casual and party dresses. Super cute!
