The Santee Alley has various authorized retailers of Converse, Nike, Puma, Jordan, Reebok, Vans, among other department store brands. Pricing varies depending on the brand and model of the sneaker, but in general shoppers wills save at least 30% off department store retail prices.

Not only does the alley have discounted sneakers and athletic footwear, we actually have casual footwear for the entire family including kids' and baby sizes. Most of The Santee Alley handbag and luggage vendors have backpacks in stock for Back-2-School. We've seen both Jansport and Everest brands. For the best deal, we suggest the Everest backpacks. They're going as low as $15! Buy backpacks for the whole family and bargain for a better deal. The more you buy the more you'll save.

JUNIORS CLOTHING - JEANS
Jeans are  the ultimate Back-2-School staple and you won't find them for less anywhere else. With prices for shorts and jeggings as low as $10 in various stores, and Colombian and Brazilian style jeans for only $15, you could buy a new pair for the entire first week of school and still save money.

JUNIORS PLUS-SIZE CLOTHING
Many stores in the alley have started to carry junior plus-sizes especially for jeans, but fashionable plus-size tops and dresses can be harder to come by. That's why we recommend Sweeties Plus, the only plus-size-only women's clothing store in the alley. Sweeties has two locations in the LA Fashion District and offers figure-flattering, trendy styles up to 3x.

S & J has been outfitting boys and men in casual and athletic wear since 1995. The family owned business offers men everything from socks and under shirts to Lakers jerseys and Dodgers tees. The alley is fully stocked with backpacks for kids and teens, starting as low as $18. We have Hello Kitty, Disney and Marvel characters, Monster High, Angry Birds, Jansport and more. Vendors are also carrying lunchboxes for the "Back to School" season. Pricing varies by size, brand, and vendor.

Weekly Fashion Finds: Back to School, Discounts and Princess Dresses

The Princess and the Frog's Tiana gown is pictured above on the right. They carry most Disney princess gowns along with their flower girl and baptism selection.

On to this week's Weekly Fashion Finds... We're Back to School ready! The Santee Alley is fully stocked with backpacks for children and teens for the back to school season. We love the little animal shaped backpacks like the one the boy is wearing in the photo above. They're perfect for smaller children and oh so adorable! You'll find everything from cartoon and action hero themed backpacks to the high school classic Jansport. For the fashion forward crowd, we also have stylish totes and book bags available at handbag stores throughout the alley.
