The former Obsession store at 1126 S Santee St, Unit B, has been transformed into LA's Sweeties, a wholesale and retail vendor of women's fashions. Here you'll find trendy party clothes and casual boho-chic styles, with jeans currently on sale for $9.99! On average prices start at around $13 for most merchandise. The store receives new inventory every week, so there's always something new.

$9.99 Deals at Silvia Fashion

An alternative title for this post could have also been "Santee Alley Hidden Gems Part 2". Silvia Fashion's deals are that good! Like Chocolate and Ameno, this is another little shop you shouldn't overlook while shopping in the alley. The women's retail and wholesale vendor offers a range of basics and trendy pieces at amazing prices. Most of the items we saw were priced under $20. In fact, most things seemed to be $9.99!

Bargain Shopping at Ameno

Santee Alley was originally the heart of the wholesale fashion industry in Los Angeles. On weekends manufacturers and importers would sell their overstock and one-offs from the back door of their businesses. Those "back doors" all faced the same alley, which would eventually be known as Santee Alley. The alley is now full-time retail operation but many a deal are still to be found, if you know where to look. "Where should I look?," you might ask. Well, we just happen to now this little store that's full of waiting-to-be-found gems...

Ameno is a women's wholesale and retail store selling a mix of trendy styles and classic staples. Retail prices range from $8-$32, meaning most items in the store are under $30! It's a great store for jumpsuits, boyfriend jeans, linen pants, maxi dresses, casual tops, and rompers.

While browsing the store we spotted 2 for $10 deals, $7.99 specials, basics starting at 3 for $10, and maxis prices as low as $10.

Party dresses were priced around $15. The store also carries an assortment of sportswear and business casual pieces, specifically blazers for $17!

Santee Alley Hidden Gems: Chocolate

This store is as good as its name... Chocolate is a retail and wholesale women's store located at 1120-E S Santee St. inside Santee Alley. It offers trendy clothing for young women at very affordable price points. We saw rompers, maxis, and tops all priced under $20! The quality of the clothing is also very good. Chocolate is not online, so this is truly one of those Fashion District gems you'll only find by visiting Santee Alley. Scroll below to see current styles.

Santee Alley Spring Fashions at Forever Fashion

Forever Fashion is a long-time Santee Alley favorite (last featured here). They have a great selection of tops, dresses, denim, bottoms, and dresses. The pricing is very affordable with jeans starting as low as $20, and most tops priced under $20. Forever Fashion offers both retail and wholesale and has new inventory every week. Grand opening and major bargain shopping alert! Everything $8.99 just opened in Santee Alley at 1120-H (inside the alley, formerly Meikayla). The new store seems to be offering everything from trendy tees to leggings and active wear. As expected with most bargains stores, merchandising efforts are minimum so you might have to look around a bit, but for $8.99? Totally worth it! The store is only offering women's clothing at this time.

District Boutique

The moment when you realize that your favorite IG boutique is actually in Santee Alley!

We've long been fans of @district_boutique's expertly curated outfits on Instagram and finally got the chance to stop by their brick-and-mortar location in the alley. District Boutique is located at 1137-B Maple Ave, inside Santee Alley between 11th and 12th Streets.

While at the store, we met with Tiffany who also manages the Instagram account. She's such a sweetheart and super stylish. In fact, the entire team at District Boutique is sweet and knowledgeable. It's the kind of store you want to go when you're putting your Friday night outfit together and need some styling tips ;)
