Adding to the ever-growing Santee Alley streetwear scene, Palm Trees DTLA recently celebrated its grand opening at 1150-C inside the alley. Palm Trees carries the latest in streetwear brands including Last Kings, Popular Demand, MUSA, streetwise, PRVTE Label, BLVD Supply, Hustlers City, Primitive Apparel, Crooks & Castles, Crisp Boxers, and our personal favorite Odd Sox. Odd Sox is a unique line of unisex socks inspired by street art and popular culture. They are the only store in the alley that has them! You can see some of the Odd Sox styles currently in stock in the photos below.

A good place to start your shopping trip is Bucci, a menswear importer and manufacturer located at 1106 1/2 inside the alley.

Bucci sells fine men's formal wear, outerwear and casual clothing. Expect to find similar styles and brands to those found in department stores. They currently have a great selection of leather jackets, sweaters, and long sleeve dress shirts. Bucci also carries suits, dress shirts and pants, ties, casual shirts, and jeans. They are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.

Savings vary, but to give you an example, on our last visit to B.Matthew we found RVCA shirts, which would normally retail for $30, for $18.99. Styles range from casual t-shirts to tailored coats and leather jackets.

Black Knights

Black Knights is an authorized sneaker retailer of Jordan, Nike, Lacoste, Levis, Converse and various other athletic shoe brands. They offer up to 50% off full retail prices. On average, expect to save $20-$30 compared to department stores. The Jordan and Nike selections are quite extensive. If Dad likes shoes, this is the place to go!

BZ Studio has been selling men's clothing in Santee Alley for 20 years. They specialize in dress and casual shirts and suits, but also carry jeans, leather jackets, and outerwear. The average price for a casual long sleeve button-up shirt is $20. Tailoring services are also available on site.

It's no secret the Fashion District, has some of the best deals on women's fashions, but boys rejoice! We've got shopping options for you too. For the young demographic looking to shop brand name t shirts, snapbacks, and outerwear we suggest stopping by Hip Hop Sports.

Hip Hop Sports, has been at the forefront of young men's urban fashion trends for over 15 years.
