A feminine take on the classic Cali-cool style is how we would describe Simone, a recently opened women's retail and wholesale store located in Santee Alley. Simone's girly dresses and breezy crop tops in peachy hues and floral prints are everything we want this summer. They also carry a very well curated selection of jewelry and accessories that perfectly compliments the store's aesthetic. Definitely worth stopping by on your next trip to the alley!

Everything $1 Fashion Jewelry

Tucked inside various stores in Santee Alley you'll find Everything $1 Fashion Jewelry. The name says it all, everything sold in this store-within-a-store is only $1. Inventory changes constantly, but you are always guaranteed to find fake eyelashes (yes, these are just $1 too), cocktail rings, bead bracelets, nail polish, and a variety of hair accessories.

We love shopping here for unique jewelry pieces, especially the cocktail rings. This is THE place for fun, out-of-the-ordinary costume cocktail rings, and all around great spot for bargain shopping!

Fashion Fantasia: Scarves and Bridal Accessories Specialty Store

If you've been to the Santee Alley before, you've probably walked by Fashion Fantasia. Located on the corner of Santee Street and Olympic Boulevard (at 1008-A Santee St.), Fashion Fantasia is our local version of accessory heaven. They carry everything from fashion jewelry and hair accessories to hats and beach totes.

Fashion Fantasia specializes in scarves and bridal accessories, which becomes evident as you soon as you walk in the door. Rows of scarves line the walls in every color, print, and style while bridal accessories are encased in displays throughout the store.

And did we mention everything in the store is currently 50% off? Now that's what we call bargain shopping!

Weekly Fashion Finds: New Year, New Looks

Hope everyone is having a great 2014 so far! We're dedicating our first blog post of the year to the first Weekly Fashion Finds of 2014. There's tons of new styles in the alley - clothing, shoes, and accessories.  First up is Iconic Fashion (pictured above) with new styles for the ladies, ranging from casual to party dresses. You can see more of their styles here. Iconic Fashion is located at 1006-C inside the Santee Alley.

Another store with a whole new inventory for the new year, is Santee Alley favorite Lola Shoetique. Their newest styles can be viewed (and purchased!) on their website at lolashoetique.com

Accessories High Bijoux is bringing in the New Year with an array of trendy necklaces. Our favorite is this "Meow" piece pictured below. You can see more of their jewelry collection here. High Bijoux is located at 1138-C inside the alley.

Our last pick for this week, is these Chanel inspired quilted, gold chain strap handbags from Ice Handbags & Accessories. They are available in red, blue, black, ivory, and tan. One of the best places to treasure hunt in the alley is the 99 cents accessories stores. You'll find costume jewelry, hair accessories, cocktail rings, scarves, and everything in between. One of our favorite places for bargain jewelry is Accessories. The selection of bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings here is bigger than most other bargain jewelry places in the alley and they stay true to the 99 cent pricing on most items. Be ready to do some hunting and expect to find lots of fun, colorful pieces!

New Holiday Styles: Vickie's Fashion has new holiday styles for women. Cobalt blue and shades of "wine" are expected to be the two hottest color trends of the Fall 2013 season. We must admit, we really like this color trend. What do you guys think? You can view all the new styles here.

We originally began frequenting KAM'S for their unique jewelry collection. (We did a previous post on the store here.) Since their grand opening a year ago, KAM's has expanded into women's clothing, including a fabulous collection of multi-way wrap dresses and party outfits. Pricing is very competitive and most styles are available for wholesale and retail.
