The Santee Alley Loves Lola Shoetique

If you're a true shoe lover, chances are you've already heard about Lola's. With over half a million followers on Instagram, Lola's Shoetique is the most popular shoe store in Santee Alley. They are known for their unique, trendy styles and amazing prices. Most heels range from $30-$65.

What many of you may not know, is that Lola Shoetique got it's start in 2004 as a woman's boutique. Shortly after opening, Lola (yes the store really is named after the owner!) realized her shoes were outselling everything else in the store and she decided to focus solely on bringing high-quality, one-of-a-kind shoes to the LA Fashion District. Lola Shoetique was born!

Fast forward 9 years later and there are now 7 Lola Shoetique locations in the Fashion District, with plans to expand into a franchise with stores in Miami, Las Vegas, and New York. Lola Shoetique manufactures, exports, and supplies boutiques across the United States and Southern and Central America.They work with over 55 shoe companies to develop and produce the fashion-forward heels that have made Lola's so popular.

Aside from the awesome shoes, we love Lola Shoetique for their dedication and support of Downtown LA and the LA Fashion District. As the company continues to grow, their home base is and always be in Los Angeles. The corporate office is headquarted in the Fashion District and Lola's remains a true family-run business with an incredible team.

We found maxi skirts and dresses starting at $5.99 in the most unlikely place of all... a men's suit store. Elegante Clothing currently has skirts, dresses, and leggings at wholesale prices available to the public. They come in various colors and prints.

Weekly Fashion Finds: $20 Handbag Sale

Ice Handbags is making room for fall inventory and has ALL their handbags on sale for $20. That's right ladies, any purse for $20! Ice has two locations in the LA Fashion District, with two more coming soon. The Santee Alley location is at 315-B. Purchases can also be placed online via their Facebook and Instagram.

Ice Handbags are 100% vegan and can also be found at retailers like Nordstrom Rack and Marshall's. Ice, a manufacturer and importer, has been in the alley for over two years. They specifically decided to base their business in the Fashion District because they felt confident they could offer the kind of competitive pricing Santee Alley shoppers expect. At $20 a bag we think they're doing an excellent job.

Weekly Fashion Finds: Backpacks starting at $18!

The alley is fully stocked with backpacks for kids and teens, starting as low as $18. We have Hello Kitty, Disney and Marvel characters, Monster High, Angry Birds, Jansport and more. Vendors are also carrying lunchboxes for the "Back to School" season. Pricing varies by size, brand, and vendor.

K.K. Distributors Wholesale & Retail Perfumes

A few weeks ago we featured K.K. Distributors, a wholesale and retail perfume vendor, in our Weekly Fashion Finds. It received so much interest we decided to do a more detailed post to give you a better look at the products K.K. Distributors offers. K.K. Distributors carries over 1,000 name brand perfumes for men and women, including Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Juicy Couture, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Vera Wang, BVLGARI, and Lacoste to name a few. If you don't find what you're looking for in-store they can special order your request.

Pricing varies by brand and type of perfume but in general, you can expect to find 30-70% off department store retail prices on higher end and European imports. In true Santee Alley fashion, they are open 7 days a week including holidays. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
